what a magnificent time i am having in paris. there are so many things to do and see!!! i have been around the city and done so much but you will get to see them one post at a time.
the streets are always full of life. the buildings are old yet spectacularly chic, as is everything in france. at night you catch glimpses of people through the windows of their apartments, throwing parties, drinking wine, looking cool. during the day you sit on the sidewalk in the sunshine, inches away from the strangers next to you, watching the people go by; nothing has ever felt so good.
you may be curious about the red light district. you'd be pleased to know that the moulin rouge is only a few blocks away from where we are staying. if you are not careful you get sucked into a sidewalk strip club and end up being the only people inside. sometimes they ask you if you want a private show. i wouldn't know, but thats what people have said. we didn't actually go to a show in the moulin rouge because it was like 2 billion euros to go inside and the show is about 3 seconds long, but maybe next time.
